Veronika Duwel is an accomplished PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC, specializing in Gynecology and Endocrinology. With a strong academic background, including a medical degree (M.D.) and a Master of Science in Global Health from Maastricht University, Veronika has demonstrated expertise in medical research and global health initiatives. Her research interests focus on maternal health, health system optimization, and social determinants of health. Veronika’s work experience is diverse, ranging from surgical care as an ANIOS Surgery at St. Antonius Hospital to managing international conferences and communications for non-profit organizations. She has also contributed to several research publications on topics including long COVID and mental health care. A bilingual professional fluent in English, Dutch, and Polish, Veronika brings a global perspective to her work, further enriched by her leadership roles in various non-profit and academic organizations.
