The Faculty of Medicine (University of Amsterdam) will host the U21 Health Sciences Group from August 26-29. The conference week takes place in Amsterdam UMC, AMC location. The theme is 'Data Driven Health Care and Teaching'. Participants such as researchers, teachers and other healthcare professionals come from universities all over the world.
Data Driven Health Care and Teaching
Amsterdam UMC wants to improve healthcare worldwide through knowledge and care. That is also the reason why the Faculty of Medicine (UvA) is affiliated with the U21 Health Sciences Group. The aim of the annual conference is to inspire each other and seek collaboration on current and interdisciplinary themes in healthcare.
Data-driven and sustainability
The first day of the conference, August 26, will be devoted to PhD presentations and projects that have been specially selected for this purpose. On the following days there will be presentations and workshops on topics including sustainability, climate goals, data-driven learning, AI in healthcare, interprofessional education and curricula in the digital age. These are given by colleagues from Amsterdam UMC or by employees from the U21 institutions.

About U21 Health Sciences Group
The U21 Health Sciences Group is a network consisting of 20 institutions from 13 countries spread over 6 continents. The institutions share knowledge and conduct research together to improve healthcare worldwide. It also offers students from the institutions various opportunities to gain experience abroad.
