Dr. Marike van der Leeden (Rehabilitation Medicine, Amsterdam UMC, VUmc) and Dr. Robert Hemke (Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Amsterdam UMC, AMC) have been granted the Investment Call 2024 for their proposal to purchase a high-end GPU (€29,651). The jury praised their proposal, highlighting that the equipment will enhance collaboration within the institute by improving efficiency in image analysis and machine learning processes across multiple departments. Once installed, the GPU will be available for use by other AMS members.
This year there were five applications that were judged by an independent jury of senior and junior AMS members. The next investment call will open in the spring of 2025.
