Henk Jan Schuijt went on a work visit to the Fragility Fracture Network Global Congress 2025 in Porto, Portugal, from October 1 to 5, 2025.
"At the Fragility Fracture Network Global Congress 2025, I had the opportunity to present work from our research group and to engage in scientific discussions with an international community of peers. This was not only a valuable learning experience but also a catalyst for new collaborations. The discussions during and after the presentations have led to several follow-up projects, in which we will work together with Danish, Swedish, British, and Australian colleagues to further advance global scientific collaboration in the field of osteoporosis and fragility fractures. These collaborations and the exposure to international perspectives will contribute significantly to my professional development and strengthen my future career as a clinician-researcher in the field of geriatric fracture care." - Henk Jan Schuijt
