After a successful pilot the Hospital Board decided to allow digital signing of several study documents (with the exception of the informed consent form for research subject to the WMO). It’s allowed to make use of both Docusign or Stiply.
At this time department heads or PI’s need to contract these providers themselves. Documents that originate digitally may be filed digitally (e.g. study protocols, manuals, IB’s). Only a few documents need a wet-ink signature and therefore need to be filed on paper.
