Amsterdam UMC and Reade Launch the Spondyloarthritis Center AmsterdamSince this spring, rheumatologists from Amsterdam UMC and Reade have teamed up to form the Spondyloarthritis Center Amsterdam, aiming to raise the standard of care for patients with spondyloarthritis, a chronic inflammatory condition affecting joints and the spine, often linked to other autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, or eye inflammation.
€14.6 Million for CAR-T Cell Therapy Research in Autoimmune DiseasesAmsterdam UMC and Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) are launching a six-year clinical study to investigate the efficacy, safety, affordability, and accessibility of CAR-T cell therapy for severe autoimmune diseases. The Dutch National Health Care Institute and ZonMw are funding the study with €14.6 million.
