At the 17th scientific meeting of the Diabetic Foot Study Group of the European Association for the Study on Diabetes, the largest yearly conference on the topic, Jaap van Netten has won the price for 'Best Oral Presentation', for his talk on the  'Cost-effectiveness and cost-utility of foot temperature monitoring for the prevention of diabetic foot ulcer recurrence: a randomized controlled trial'. During this talk, he presented the findings of the economic analyses of the DIATEMP-trial, also on behalf of his co-authors Wouter aan de Stegge, Marcel Dijkgraaf and Sicco Bus
