31 researchers who have recently received their PhDs can do their research at foreign research institutes thanks to a Rubicon grant from NWO. The Rubicon programme gives young, highly promising researchers the opportunity to gain international research experience.
One of these talented researchers is Willianne Hoepel from the of Amsterdam institute for Infection and Immunity. She will visit Cambridge University for 2 years. She will study the role of mast cells in chronic kidney disease, with the ultimate goal to find new treatment options.
