The VU University Library is starting a new book club for October-November-December 2026.
You are warmly invited to join the reading group at the library on 'End-of-Life & Religion', co-organised by dr. Pieter Coppens, dr. Jens Reinke and Marc Lamain. The group is open to all researchers with an interest in end-of-life care, mental health and palliative care, regardless of university affiliation (UvA or VU) or discipline. We value your academic and personal perspective on the topic. Together, through literature, film, articles and more, we will deepen our understanding of how religion and the last phase of life are intertwined.
Our first three sessions take place on 8 October, 12 November and 10 December; starting time is 12:45 p.m. and closing time differs per session.
