Focus of research
I am a curious and driven neurovascular researcher with a main focus on acute ischemic stroke. I manage a multi-disciplinary team that combines experimental in vivo research with patient data and material and in vitro methods. Another important part of my daily work is the management and supervision of the experimental imaging lab. While my main focus concerns pre-clinical research, I highly value the translational impact of my knowledge and my team’s work via close collaborations with clinical colleagues, projects and joint PhD supervisions.
