Focus of research
My research focuses on clinical-epidemiological and translational research in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and on course and outcome of pregnancy in SLE, antiphospholipid syndrome and other autoimmune and rheumatic diseases. Furthermore, I am involved in clinical trials with biological agents, targeted synthetic agents, and other novel treatment modalities for SLE.
