As a participant or as an attendee you can get EC's:
- To qualify for 1 EC you must submit a poster and abstract, present your poster on a poster board (or in the continuous slide presentation (see Poster Award)) during the Science & Awards Day on 6 March 2026, follow two workshops of your choice and be present all day. Study load: 28 hours
- Visiting the day, including one or two workshops, without submitting a poster and abstract: 0,15 EC for the morning, 0,15 EC for the afternoon, 0,3 max. Study load: 8 hours
- All researchers and supervisors are invited to join the SAD as a visitor as well!

- Amsterdam UMC PhD Poster Award (deadline for submitting posters: 15-12-2025)
- Amsterdam UMC Young Talent Fund (deadline for application: 31-12-2025)
Is/was your article published in 2025?
- Amsterdam UMC PhD Publication Award (deadline for application: 08-12-2025)
Do/did you graduate in 2025?
- Amsterdam UMC PhD Thesis Award (deadline for application: 01-12-2025)
- Amsterdam UMC PhD Thesis Design Award (deadline for application: 01-12-2025)
Do you consider a PhD and did you recently or will you soon complete your Master’s programme?
- Amsterdam UMC PhD Scholarships (deadline for application: to be announced)
Winners of these Amsterdam UMC awards will be presented during the Science & Awards Day, at different moments, spread throughout the day.
