Specialization
Medical immunologist with a focus on transplant immunology and transfusion medicine.
In 2021 I started my training to become a medical immunologist with a specialization in transplant immunology at the HLA laboratory of Amsterdam. I have a strong background in wet-lab experiments using different cell types and antibody testing, flow cytometry and cell sorting and dry-lab data analyses and interpretation of sequencing results. As medical immunologist I ensure a high quality of diagnostic tests and advice clinicians on the interpretation of the results, including transplant immunological risk. In addition, I am involved in research projects of collaborating (clinician) researchers at the Amsterdam UMC.
