Focus of research
I aim to understand the role of lymph node stromal cells in shaping a tumor-promoting niche in lymph nodes. I have developed an innovative human B-cell lymphoma-on-chip model, including an endothelialized vessel, which revealed that lymph node stromal cells drive lymphoma tumour cell survival en migration. I am currently investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying these processes with the aim to develop novel therapies targeting the stromal niche in lymph nodes to inhibit cancer progression.
