Amsterdam UMC Societal Impact Award
Societal impact is becoming more and more important for research. To increase awareness the Amsterdam UMC Societal Impact Award is created. This award is for an Amsterdam UMC researcher or team with a relevant societal impact. Each year the Amsterdam UMC Research Institutes are asked to nominate their most prominent researchers based on Societal Impact. Of these nominations a shortlist is created by the Societal Impact Award jury of Amsterdam UMC. These finalists introduce their work in short videos. The winner of the Award will be based on the results of a voting via a poll amongst all employees of Amsterdam UMC (which will count for 50% in the end result) and the evaluation of an external jury (also counting for 50%).
