    Run for Their Lives: €7,332 Raised for PAIS Research On March 15, the AI&I running team took on the Amstelveen Marathon, raising an impressive €7,312 for research into Post-Acute Infection Syndromes (PAIS). We are proud to recognize the dedication and effort of our runners: Joppe Hovius, Maria Thon, Roos Klungers, Dilek Yusuf, Valentijn Tromp, Marit van Gils, Joan Capella-Pujol, Jan van den Bossche, Jelmer van Lieshout, and Hung-Jen Oliver Chen.

    Funding for two research projects on sensory overload The Dutch Brain Foundation is investing almost three million euros in two new research projects at Amsterdam UMC on sensory overload. Amsterdam Neuroscience researchers Brigit de Jong and Hilgo Bruining formed consortia from Amsterdam UMC and partners. Together, they will investigate exactly what sensory overload is, how it can be measured, and how care for people with these symptoms can be improved.
