Amsterdam Cohort Hub (ACH) is developing a structured and transparent framework for accessing and exploring population-based cohort data from Amsterdam UMC and partner institutions. This evolving infrastructure promotes the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles and supports cross-cohort collaboration and innovation.

Data Catalogue

The ACH Data Catalogue provides a central overview of all participating cohort studies, including study characteristics, participant profiles, and measured domains, to help researchers identify relevant datasets for secondary analyses and collaboration.

This is developed in collaboration with Molgenis/UMCG and already includes general metadata for all cohorts. You can find the data catalogue here.

Data Access Procedures

Data access requests are submitted directly to the individual cohorts, each of which has its own policy and review procedure. Applying for access always requires a written proposal, which is reviewed by the board of the respective cohort. Upon approval, a contract is drawn up between the applicant and the cohort. More information can be found on the websites of the respective cohorts. For questions, please contact: cohortsupport@amsterdamumc.nl.
