As of 26 September 2026, Amsterdam UMC will implement a single integrated laboratory information system: 1LIMS.
This will have a direct impact on research (both studies and biobanks), including the way in which laboratory tests are requested.

Please contact the Central Research Laboratory (CRL) well in advance before starting a new study or biobank. Projects require (adjusted) configuration in EPIC, so that 1LIMS and EPIC are properly aligned with your research workflow.
