Synergy Grants: AI&I and AGEM join forces with Guardians of the GutUntil 21 September 2026, researchers from the Amsterdam institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (AI&I) can submit proposals for the AI&I Synergy Grant 2027 together with a researcher from AGEM, ACS, APH, or AMS. Last year, AI&I and AGEM awarded one of these grants to the project led by Dr. Rens Zonneveld (AI&I) and Dr. Vanesa Muncan (AGEM) titled ‘Guardians of the gut’.
VACCINATION TOPIC 101 | With Marit van GilsAt the Amsterdam Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (AI&I), we focus on three key research areas: Post-Acute Infection Syndromes (PAIS), Immunomonitoring, and Vaccination. Behind the Scenes: A New AI&I MovieOver the past six months, the PR & Public Outreach Committee has been active in developing a new, informative and dynamic video about our research institute. With this video, we aim to show how we work together and to inspire (prospective) researchers, clinicians, patients and other stakeholders with the innovative and important research being carried out at AI&I.
