Can patient questionnaires do more than measure outcomes? This project explores how PROMs can support personalized physiotherapy care after hip and knee replacement.

Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) are questionnaires that capture the subjective experience of a patient’s health status. Currently, PROMs are mainly used to evaluate health outcomes at the group level, while they are much less often used in individual patient care. This project aims to provide evidence on how and to what extent PROMs may be used during individual physiotherapy care following a common treatment procedure (hip and knee replacement due to osteoarthrosis).
