In the week of September 14th, 2026, Tammy C. Hoffmann will visit Amsterdam UMC as part of her Spinoza professorship at the University of Amsterdam. She is a professor of Clinical Epidemiology and leads the Centre for Evidence-Informed Health Decisions in the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare, Bond University.
Tammy Hoffman is a well-known researcher in the field of evidence-based practice; evidence implementation; shared decision making, and enhancing the value, transparency, and usability of research, all of which directly relate to striving for more appropriate care. As APH-Quality of Care, together with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, we are very pleased and honored to host a meeting with Tammy Hoffman on Monday, September 14th, from 13:00-15:00. This meeting is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and ideas about appropriate care.
Who should attend this meeting?
We invite all APH-QoC junior researchers to pitch their work (+/- 3 to 5 minutes) on topics related to appropriate care, such as (but not limited to):
During the meeting, junior researchers will pitch their work, after which Tammy Hoffman will directly reflect on each of the contributions. This is a unique opportunity to get valuable expert feedback on your work and exchange ideas with one of the leading experts in this field. There will also be time to reflect on this research field together.
