Information that specifically applies to WMO or non-WMO research is marked by a colour.

WMO Research is subject to the WMO if the following criteria are met: 1. It concerns medical scientific research; and 2. Participants are subjected to procedures or are required to follow rules of behaviour.

Non-WMO Research that does not meet the WMO criteria. Non-WMO research includes medical scientific research where, for example, research data is collected by analyzing medical records.
