Manage your personal profile in Pure
The Edit profile button will open the Profile Editor window in the Metadata tab. Please check and complete the information you find under the header Personal identification. Some fields will contain information sourced from the AUMC HR-system. Some of those can be changed in Pure, others should be changed in the HR-system. Pure sources your academic title(s) from the HR-system.
ORCiD stands for Open Researcher and Contributer iD: A persistent digital identifier for anyone working in academia.
ORCiD is a unique personal number that allows researchers to easily and automatically connect their research information across a wide range of online databases. You can think of ORCiD as the academic equivalent of your passport: It ensures other research systems and services know who you are and what you have done.
AMC – To edit your ORCID go to AMC Pure > Edit profile > Metadata (tab) > ORCID
VUmc- Register your ORCID go to PeopleSoft
Edit profile > Metadata (tab) > Personal Identification > Profile photos
Upload a recent portrait photo of professional quality.
Click Add File and drag file or browse your computer to add your profile photo:
To change your profile photo in Pure: upload the new file and then remove the previous one.
Add a brief description of your professional identity. Ranges from 50 to 300 words. In the description you promote your research and other achievements.
• Edit profile > Metadata (tab) > Scroll down to Curriculum and research description.
• Click Add profile information and choose one of the headers.
