Research Support

An Unrestricted Grant Agreement is an agreement in which a party grants or pledges a monetary contribution to AUMC to perform research. This template LRS template Research Grant Agreement 2023 can be used if the following three parameters are fulfilled:

1. The researchers employed by AUMC have designed the research protocol and have full control over the planning of the research;

2. The granting party can’t exert any influence on (the outcome of) the research; and

3. The granting party does not receive any compensation for providing the contribution (for example: no claim of or access to intellectual property generated under the research).

Please always consult a Financial Advisor/Project controller to determine whether the contribution is exempt from VAT.
