Note that postdoctoral researchers are entitled to an extension of employement for the duration of pregnancy and maternity leave. More information on this is given here.

Coaching specifically for young professionals
For employees under 35, SoFoKleS now has a UMC-wide coaching program available: Challenge & Support Young Talent. Many young employees leave Amsterdam UMC within 2 years. They experience overload due to work, private life or a combination and sometimes they need extra support to enjoy their work.
What does the coaching program include?
• Five 1-1 conversations with a professional coach
• Reflecting with the young professional
• More control, direction and confidence in their career
• An opportunity to discuss themes such as workload, work choice or ambition.
